In May 2025 a problem arose when transfering money by Wise.com to the thai Krungsri Bank (Bank of Ayudhya).
In July 2025 the problem still exists but we have understood why it happens and know how to solve it for you. It is a simple database problem at the Krungsri Bank but so far it seems they are unwilling to solve it.
The problem is that the Krungsri bank has only 13 letters to store the owners account name. So so all names that are longer than this get cut from the 14th letter.
So if you want that the Krungsri bank accepts the online money transfer from Wise then you simple need to cut the receivers name to 13 letters and then the transfer is accepted.
